‘The Road To Becoming Smokefree’ campaign
This campaign was designed to encourage the citizens of Chorley in Lancashire to utilise their local smoking cessation service for guidance and help to quit smoking.
We decided to use bastardised versions of Highway Code signage as it is a familiar and instantly recognisable visual language, that is also simple yet graphically powerful. This approach also allowed us to use a little humour to get the varying messages of the campaign across. The erectile dysfunction sign still makes us chuckle!
The campaign proved to be a great success, with referrals up 30% in the three weeks following its launch.
