Lets face it, none of us really want to talk about England and the World Cup at the moment, and what is being said is pretty depressing stuff thanks to the events of Sunday afternoon. However all is not lost: thanks to a little bit of Gingernut Creative magic, there are public sector organisations all over the country having a ‘winning’ World Cup!

It all started, as usual, with a bright idea. Liz, our footy-mad account manager suggested that we put together a World Cup mailer – full of concepts tackling the difficult issues raised by such a big sporting event, such as anti-social behaviour and domestic violence. They went down a treat, leading to many hard-hitting campaigns being launched all over the country, a selection of which are shown below.

So thanks Liz, and an even bigger thank you to everyone we’ve worked with during the World Cup – we hit the target even if England couldn’t!
